{"id":192240,"date":"2025-09-01T19:40:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T19:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/192240\/"},"modified":"2025-09-01T19:40:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T19:40:14","slug":"homicide-investigation-underway-after-fort-worth-woman-found-dead-north-texas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/192240\/","title":{"rendered":"Homicide investigation underway after Fort Worth woman found dead | North Texas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FORT WORTH, Texas \u2014<\/strong> The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating a homicide after a woman was found dead with a gunshot wound on the 2600 block of Yeager St.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Officers were dispatched to the scene on August 30, 2025, around 7:30 a.m., initially responding to a stabbing call.<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, officers discovered the victim in bed with an apparent gunshot wound to her upper body and head, according to a press release from the Fort Worth Police Department. Medical personnel pronounced the victim dead at the scene.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Detectives revealed that both the victim and the suspect had been staying at the location temporarily and were not permanent residents. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a vehicle several hours before the victim was found.
