CHICAGO (WLS) — A man was shot near Montrose Harbor on Chicago’s North Side on Monday evening, police said.<\/p>\n

Police said the shooting happened in the Uptown neighborhood’s 4800-block of North Simmons Drive around 5:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

A 27-year-old man was standing outside of a vehicle when someone approached him, took out a gun, and fired shots, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim, shot in the arm, was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition.<\/p>\n

There is no one in custody, and area detectives are investigating.<\/p>\n

Police did not immediately provide further information about the shooting.<\/p>\n
