Since the code is intended for internal use, Macworld believes the Touch ID feature is likely still in the <b>prototype stage<\/b>. This suggests that the upcoming Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 probably won\u2019t have Touch ID.<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">There is no information available on how Touch ID will be implemented on the Apple Watch, but Apple\u00a0could\u00a0<b>integrate it into the side button<\/b>\u00a0or utilise an in-display optical sensor.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">Touch ID on the Apple Watch could provide at least two benefits: unlocking the watch would be <b>faster<\/b> and <b>more convenietn<\/b> than entering a numerical code, and <b>Apple Pay <\/b>would be <b>more secure<\/b>.<b> <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"_base_1s8rd_1 _default_1s8rd_12\">In addition to Touch ID, the code references <b>a new chip called the T8320<\/b>. The upcoming Apple Watch Series 11 and Watch Ultra 3 are rumoured to be <a class=\"_externalLinks_17ndg_78\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hardwarezone.com.sg\/mobile\/apple-leak-reveals-7-products-processors-roadmap?ref=contentblockl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">powered by a new S11 chip based on the T8310<\/a>.
