Giuliani was involved in a traffic accident in New Hampshire.<\/a><\/p>\nGiuliani was in the passenger seat of a rented Ford Bronco driven by his spokesperson, Ted Goodman, when their vehicle was struck from behind by a Honda HR-V late Saturday evening, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement. The Honda was driven by a 19-year-old woman.<\/p>\n
The crash caused both vehicles to hit the highway median, according to troopers who witnessed the scene, and left both vehicles \u201cheavily damaged.” Goodman and the 19-year-old driver suffered \u201cnon-life-threatening injuries\u201d and both were taken to hospitals to treat injuries, the agency added.<\/p>\n
After the accident, Giuliani was taken to a trauma center nearby and was treated for injuries including a \u201cfractured thoracic vertebrae, multiple lacerations and contusions, as well as injuries to his left arm and lower leg,\u201d according to Ragusa.<\/p>\n
Ragusa reassured people about Giuliani\u2019s condition, saying, \u201cHe\u2019ll be released in a few days and he\u2019s doing great. Conscious, alert, strong. He\u2019ll be back to business as usual this week.”<\/p>\n
