{"id":193474,"date":"2025-09-02T06:51:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T06:51:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/193474\/"},"modified":"2025-09-02T06:51:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T06:51:09","slug":"collier-county-woman-spots-bear-and-coyote-strolling-in-her-backyard-collier-county","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/193474\/","title":{"rendered":"Collier County woman spots bear and coyote strolling in her backyard | Collier County"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Wildlife sightings are common in the Crown Pointe neighborhood of Collier County, but one resident had an exceptionally unusual encounter.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Laura Curro said she spotted a big black bear in her backyard on Sunday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Curro took a photo of the bear, but upon closer inspection, she noticed it had company\u2014a coyote following closely behind.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">&#8220;I realized there was a coyote following the bear, like 10 feet behind it. They were just kind of like out for an afternoon stroll,&#8221; Curro said. &#8220;They weren&#8217;t, Coyote wasn&#8217;t chasing it or anything, but anyway, they were just walking along, this will never happen again in my lifetime. I&#8217;ll never see this kind of, kind of weird.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The Crown Pointe neighborhood borders a preserve, so Curro is no stranger to wildlife sightings.
