Dallas ISD is celebrating Attendance Awareness Month in September, promoting strong, consistent attendance habits that will set students up for success at all grade levels.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The theme for the 2025-2026 school year is \u201cShow up! Attendance Matters.\u201d
The Graduation, Recovery, Attendance\/Advocacy and Dropout Intervention department is hosting weekly kickoffs for students and team members to help build routines, increase engagement, provide access to resources, and support learning.<\/p>\n
Participation varies by campus.<\/p>\n

Each Wednesday throughout the month, central office and campus team members are encouraged to participate in weekly attendance awareness dress-up days.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Week 3, Sept. 17: Twin Squad Day: Better Together\u2013Attend Together<\/b>
<\/b>Dress like a friend or group. Duo, trio, or quadruplet day.<\/p>\n
Week 4, Sept. 24: Walk the Walk. Show Up to Shine! Attendance All-Stars\u2013Every Day is Your Premiere
<\/b>Wear something bright, sparkly, or dress like a superstar. It\u2019s your spotlight moment. <\/p>\n
