{"id":193755,"date":"2025-09-02T09:26:14","date_gmt":"2025-09-02T09:26:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/193755\/"},"modified":"2025-09-02T09:26:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-02T09:26:14","slug":"european-customer-leases-si-imaging-services-spaceeye-t","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/193755\/","title":{"rendered":"European customer leases SI Imaging Services&#8217; SpaceEye-T"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN FRANCISCO \u2014 South Korea\u2019s SI Imaging Services announced a contract Sept. 2 to lease the capacity of Earth-observation satellite SpaceEye-T to a European customer under a contract with a value of more than 10 million euros ($11.7 million).<\/p>\n<p>SpaceEye-T, an optical satellite offering native resolution of 25 centimeters per pixel, reached orbit in March on a SpaceX Transporter-13 <a href=\"https:\/\/spacenews.com\/intelligence-and-dual-use-commercial-satellites-launch-on-transporter-13\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">rideshare<\/a>. Satrec Initiative, SI Imaging Services\u2019 parent company, developed and owns SpaceEye-T.<\/p>\n<p>The lease to the undisclosed European customer is the latest example of the growing popularity of the Satellite-as-a-Service model.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"780\" height=\"487\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/rsz_ce7b53ab-6e79-4034-9b0a-c36d7dfa2e9f.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-548571\"  \/>SpaceEye-T imagery of Saudia Arabia\u2019s Jeddah airport.
