This opens a fullscreen player with the article\u2019s full text, which is highlighted as you progress, with the app already saving URLs at capture time. Pixel Screenshots notes how long the article is and lets you thumbs up\/down.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Controls at the bottom let you play\/pause and go to the previous\/next line. You can also \u201cSelect language for audio\u201d: Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Latvian, Malay, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romania, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Vietnamese.<\/p>\n<p>The Playback speed options are: .5, .75, 1, 1.25, 1.75, and 2x. You also get system media controls, with playback continuing outside the app and when the screen is off.<\/p>\n<p>\tAdvertisement &#8211; scroll for more content<\/p>\n<p>This joins other options like Chrome\u2019s Listen to this page and Android\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.accessibility.reader\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Reading mode<\/a> app.<\/p>\n<p>Screenshots\u2019 Read aloud capability is available on the Pixel 9 (with last week\u2019s update) and Pixel 10 series. Both generations also get NotebookLM integration for relevant content. Chips appear both in the corner preview and the screenshot page.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=com.google.android.apps.pixel.agent\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Version 1.25.242.10<\/a> also introduces <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2025\/08\/27\/google-clock-material-3-expressive-redesign\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">some Material 3 Expressive tweaks<\/a>, like how the FAB (floating action button) on the homepage is now a rounded square.
