Now, they&#8217;re expecting them to arrive sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n<p>The district announced on Aug. 29 that its pouches were <a href=\"https:\/\/cnycentral.com\/news\/local\/fayetteville-manlius-csd-to-start-school-year-without-pouches-to-store-phones-amid-ban-faraday-yondr-velcro-bell-to-bell-new-york-state-governor-kathy-hochul-distraction-free-135-million-dollars#\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"https:\/\/cnycentral.com\/news\/local\/fayetteville-manlius-csd-to-start-school-year-without-pouches-to-store-phones-amid-ban-faraday-yondr-velcro-bell-to-bell-new-york-state-governor-kathy-hochul-distraction-free-135-million-dollars#\" class=\"themeColorForLinks\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">selected for a cargo inspection\/examination<\/a> by U.S. Customs &amp; Border Protection. Hochul&#8217;s &#8216;bell-to-bell&#8217; phone ban goes into effect at schools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, before the pouches arrive, students are asked to keep their devices at home. Any internet-enabled device brought into school must be kept in a locker.<\/p>\n<p>Fayetteville-Manlius grades Pre-K to ninth began school on Tuesday.
