A young mother of two was found dead on a bed covered in blood by her daughters, ages six and four, after her husband allegedly shot her in Texas<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Glenda Maria Aguilera Rubio, 21, was found on a bed in the kitchen by her two daughters, who rushed to awaken the owner of the home, telling the woman that their mom ‘had blood on her,’ according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Fort Worth Star-Telegram<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Fort Worth Police Department arrested\u00a0Josue Bayardo Rodas, 29, for the mother’s murder after he called 911 to turn himself in.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The couple and two young girls were staying at the Fort Worth home and had arrived on August 27.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The woman who lived at the home told detectives that Rodas and Rubio were planning on spending a few nights there after a fight with the family members they lived with.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rodas and Rubio were drinking alcohol<\/a> with the man who lives at the Fort Worth home on August 29, before the night turned deadly.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The man told police he went to bed by 11 pm, and the woman said she came home around midnight to find Rodas and Rubio still drinking together.\u00a0<\/p>\n

She went to bed around 1:30 am and awoke the next morning at 7 am to the disturbing news from Rubio’s daughters.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rubio’s husband,\u00a0Josue Bayardo Rodas, 29, allegedly confessed to her murder and was arrested\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rubio and Rodas were staying at a home after getting into a fight with the family members they lived with\u00a0<\/p>\n

She checked on Rubio and found her with blood on her face. The front door was open, and Rodas had disappeared.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The homeowners, who weren’t named, noticed that Rodas’ black sedan was missing. His vehicle was later spotted in Sweetwater, about 200 miles away from Fort Worth.\u00a0<\/p>\n

They reported the incident to the police, initially believing that Rodas had died from a stabbing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

When detectives arrived, they found that Rodas hadn’t been stabbed, but was shot in the head and upper body.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police found Rodas at a local gas station, where he confessed to the homicide. He was charged with murder and booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Tuesday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Rodas is being held on bond for $500,000. He hasn’t yet entered a plea for the murder charge.\u00a0<\/p>\n

A GoFundMe<\/a>\u00a0has been set up for Rubio’s family to cover funeral expenses. The fundraiser noted that Rubio left behind two little girls, Nathaly, 6, and\u00a0Zo\u00e9, 4.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It’s unclear where the two lived, but a Facebook account associated with Rubio listed her hometown as Metairie, Louisiana, and said she was from Honduras.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Daily Mail reached out to the Fort Worth Police Department for the arrest affidavit and an update on the case.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
