JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 A Duval County jury found Anthony Brooks guilty of Second-Degree Murder and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon for the shooting death of his nephew.<\/p>\n
Brooks, who faces up to life in prison, was convicted on June 26 after a jury heard evidence that he shot his nephew following an argument at a family gathering.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred on July 6, 2024<\/a>, when officers responded to a crash on Myrtle Avenue.
