The day encourages people to support businesses in the River City.<\/p>\n<p>JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2014 September 4th isn&#8217;t just another date on the calendar in Jacksonville \u2014 it&#8217;s 904 Day, a celebration of everything that makes Jacksonville uniquely 904.<\/p>\n<p>The city and Mayor Donna Deegan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jacksonville.gov\/departments\/public-affairs\/proclamations\/proclamations\/2023\/09-september-2023\/proc-904-day-2023.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">issued a proclamation for &#8216;904 Day&#8217; on Sept. 4, 2023<\/a>.
