This fall, Robert Glasper will return to New York\u2019s Blue Note Jazz Club for Robtober 2025, the seventh edition of his annual residency at the vaunted musical institution. Set to kick off on Wednesday, Oct. 1, and continue through Nov. 2, Glasper\u2019s residency in the Big Apple will include performances on all Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for a five-week stretch, delivering two sets each night with a litany of special guests.<\/p>\n
While Glasper\u2019s beloved Blue Note tradition has regularly included guest spots, this year\u2019s 25-show sprint is heavier on the features than ever before, with each week centering the pianist and producer\u2019s connection with new collaborators. Some of the performers booked to join in include Cordae, Emily King, Bilal and Ledisi, as well as R+R Now, featuring Terrace Martin, Derrick Hodge, Justin Tyson and Taylor McFerrin, and more still to be announced.<\/p>\n
Robtober 2025 follows the five-time Grammy winner\u2019s appearances at The Black Radio Experience, which his own Black Radio Productions presented alongside Blue Note Entertainment Group from Aug. 29 to Aug. 31. Glasper served as the Artist in Residence at the Napa, Calif., event, taking the stage alongside Jazmine Sullivan, Earth, Wind & Fire and The Roots in a program inspired by his Black Radio recording series and acclaimed Blue Note residencies. Other 2025 headliners included West Coast icon Martin, Yebba and DJ Jazzy Jeff, with other performances from Glasper, Anthony Hamilton, Saba, Lupe Fiasco, Willow, Esperanza Spalding, Hiatus Kaiyote, Infinity Song and others.<\/p>\n
