Sabrina Carpenter got candid about her outlook on beauty while simultaneously calling out “insufferable men” who believe she’s “hideous”<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
In her conversation with Interview Magazine, the pop star said her confidence isn’t defined by what others say about her appearance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
“My mom\u2019s always been a natural beauty and always really encouraged me to just let it happen,” she said about aging<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>‘s confidence isn’t defined by any manchildren.<\/p>\n Speaking with Mel Ottenberg for Interview Magazine’s September issue<\/a>, the pop star, 26, addressed how she feels about the longevity of her hotness (currently she feels “so good” about “being hot”), and revealed her outlook on beauty while simultaneously calling out her haters.<\/p>\n “It\u2019s usually pretty insufferable men that think I\u2019m hideous, but when I think about beauty, it\u2019s been about when I myself feel beautiful. It has nothing to do with other people,” she said in the Sept. 3 cover story.<\/p>\n Justin Goff Photos\/Getty<\/p>\n Sabrina Carpenter at the 2025 Brit Awards<\/p>\n She continued: “I haven\u2019t really grappled with what\u2019s going to happen as I get older, but my mom\u2019s always been a natural beauty and always really encouraged me to just let it happen. She\u2019s like, ‘Let the world weather you.’ The world is definitely weathering me right now.”<\/p>\n Carpenter does know exactly what she wants when it comes to glam. “I feel hottest when I feel the most me,” she shared, adding that “pretty, wavy curly hair and a nice tan, freckles, a dewy cheek situation and obviously a lip liner,” up her confidence.<\/p>\n “I love glam. I really, really do. My mom was a dancer, so growing up, makeup and dance recitals and dress-up, all of it was very, very normal for me. Even right now, I get really excited to dress up.
