“It was nice to have all sorts of witnesses,” he said. “It was very crazy.”<\/p>\n
‘It kind of became a reality very quickly.’<\/p>\n
Dodson said he’s been playing in the outing for a few years, and he’s never done nearly as well.<\/p>\n
“This year, I pulled up to the hole and knew it was the car hole and just swung the club, and it worked out well,” he said.<\/p>\n
Dodson said he was initially shocked to see the ball go in.<\/p>\n
“I heard a lot of people screaming,” he said. “I sat down initially, and it kind of became a reality very quickly.”<\/p>\n
Dodson said the prize was a two-year lease on the car, but he decided he wanted to own the car, so his prize became money down.<\/p>\n
