Some Milwaukee-based companies were recently recognized as some of the best employers in Wisconsin.<\/p>\n

Forbes surveyed more than 160,000 employees from companies across the U.S. with at least 500 employees for its Aug. 21 “America’s Best Employers by State<\/a>” report, in partnership with Statista. The report listed 75 companies<\/a> as the best employers in Wisconsin, including some that are not headquartered in the Badger State.<\/p>\n

So, which Milwaukee workplaces made the list?<\/p>\n

Ten of the 75 companies that made\u00a0Forbes’ list<\/a>\u00a0were headquartered in Milwaukee:<\/p>\n

  1. Harley-Davidson (ranked No. 9 overall)<\/li>\n
  2. Advocate Health (rank No. 10)<\/li>\n
  3. Children’s Wisconsin (rank No. 15)<\/li>\n
  4. Baird (rank No. 17)<\/li>\n
  5. Medical College of Wisconsin (rank No. 18)<\/li>\n
  6. Milwaukee Area Technical College (rank No. 27)<\/li>\n
  7. Northwestern Mutual (rank No. 34)<\/li>\n
  8. Rockwell Automation (rank No. 59)<\/li>\n
  9. City of Milwaukee (rank No. 66)<\/li>\n
  10. Milwaukee County (rank No. 75)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Several other Milwaukee-based companies made the list for best employers in other states.<\/p>\n
