It has been a long road for Legacy Motor Club since the organization rebranded from Richard Petty Motorsports. <\/p>\n

The team has gone through ownership, manufacturer and driver changes in its brief history. It took until this past weekend\u2019s Southern 500 for both of its cars to finish in the top five.<\/p>\n

Erik Jones<\/a> finished third with John Hunter Nemechek <\/a>one spot behind him. Both cars and drivers had winning speed from lap one to lap 367.<\/p>\n

Was the Southern 500 the best race for Legacy Motor Club in its brief rebranded history? Can the team snag a win this year?<\/p>\n
