The Pansy Craze art<\/p>\n

Following a limited run in June,\u00a0The Pansy Craze\u2014the six-part series written and created by Hunter Bird<\/a> and Mason Alexander Park\u2014will offer\u00a0its final three\u00a0performances November 20\u201322 at Audible<\/a>\u2019s Minetta Lane Theatre.<\/p>\n

Hosted by\u00a0Park, and featuring Lachlan Watson, the live performances will be\u00a0directed by Bird.\u00a0Each episode of The Pansy Craze will also be recorded live
\n and released June 4, 2026, as an Audible Original. The upcoming\u00a0recording is currently available for pre-order\u00a0by clicking\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Pansy Craze blends
\n the dazzle of a cabaret with the intimacy of a piano bar, honoring the
\nqueer icons who paved the way. Each
\n evening unfolds through songs, sketches, and storytelling, spotlighting moments in\u00a0history when queerness was celebrated, commodified, and
\nthen criminalized.<\/p>\n

In June, guests Jackie Cox, Evan Rachel Wood, and Laverne Cox joined Park on the Minetta Lane Theatre stage for The Pansy Craze\u2019s first three episodes. Special guests for the November shows will be announced at a later date.<\/p>\n

Performer-writer Park starred in back-to-back Jamie Lloyd productions in the West End: The Tempest as Ariel and Much Ado About Nothing as Margaret. They also played The Emcee in the West End revival of Cabaret. Mason can be seen on screen as Dr. Ian Wright in NBC’s Quantum Leap sequel series, Gren in the Netflix live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop, Desire in The Sandman, and in Amazon’s Critical Role: The Legend of Vox Machina.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn-based director, writer, and theatrical creator Bird has spent over a decade developing plays, musicals,
\n concert experiences, and more. Projects include Bronco Billy: The Musical, XY,
\nand three plays with Manhattan Theatre Club as Lynne Meadow\u2019s associate director. Bird’s writing credits include She Reached for Heaven and The Golden Record.<\/p>\n

Theatrical supervision is by Beacon Theatrical Services with general management by ShowTown Theatricals<\/a>.<\/p>\n
