PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A portion of Thomas Road is closed in west Phoenix after a deadly crash overnight. <\/p>\n

The crash happened just before 4 a.m. near 27th Avenue and Thomas Road<\/a>. <\/p>\n

A witness told Arizona\u2019s Family that a man was crossing the road outside of a crosswalk when several vehicles were approaching. According to the witness, one of the vehicles did not slow down, hit the man and left the scene. <\/p>\n

The person\u2019s body was still in the road as Arizona\u2019s Family crews arrived. Phoenix Police have not confirmed details of this crash.<\/p>\n

Police closed Thomas Road between 27th Avenue and 31st Avenue for the investigation. Drivers should use alternate streets. <\/p>\n
