Employees of a car wash were detained by federal agents Thursday during an immigration enforcement operation in Chino Hills.<\/p>\n

Federal agents carried out the operation around 11 a.m. at the Chino Hills Car Wash on 14694 Pipeline Avenue, according to an immigrant advocacy group.<\/p>\n

Jose, the manager of the car wash, says at least five of his employees were detained by immigration enforcement agents.<\/p>\n

Cellphone video shows multiple federal agents being asked to leave the establishment.<\/p>\n

NBCLA has reached out to ICE for comment on the operation, but has not received a response.<\/p>\n

Several car washes<\/a> around LA County have been targets of immigration enforcement operations since June.<\/p>\n

The recent immigration enforcement operations in Los Angeles and other parts of Southern California are part of President Trump’s campaign promise to carry out a mass deportation plan.<\/p>\n

Through Sept. 4, nearly 61,000 migrants had been taken into ICE detention since the start of President Trump’s second term, according\u00a0NBC News<\/a>, which used ICE data both public and internal as well as data from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.
