However, a Pixel 10 teardown reveals a new battery removal mechanism.<\/p>\n<p>Like last year, there\u2019s a dual-entry design, with the back plate not requiring heat to slice through the adhesive. If you just want to replace the battery, the screen does not need to be removed.<\/p>\n<p>iFixit notes the \u201cinternal layout is clean and simple with fewer screws than most flagship phones.\u201d They are all T3 Torx <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ifixit.com\/News\/110702\/torx-plus-the-high-tech-screw-hiding-in-our-gadgets\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Plus<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s a green pull tab that\u2019s part of a new \u201cpull jacket\u201d design. Previously, it was a sliding saw-style pull tab mechanism that you use to slice through the adhesive underneath.
