Houston, Texas<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 McNeese Soccer (1-4-2) fell on the road Thursday night to a strong Houston squad (4-0-1), who remained unbeaten with an 8-0 win at Carl Lewis International Complex.<\/p>\n The Cougars struck early, opening the scoring in the 3rd minute with a goal from Morgan Donohue. They doubled their lead in the 15th minute when Amanda Adams found the net off a setup by Krysten Kizer. Houston continued to apply pressure throughout the half, adding goals from Amaris Bumba (33′) and Adelhia Ghonda (44′) to take a 4-0 lead into the break.<\/p>\n Houston extended their advantage in the second half with four more goals. Peyton Machado assisted Casey Maddox in the 54th minute, followed by Savannah Tafireyi’s goal in the 64th minute off a pass from Cameryn Maddox.
