The off-ramps for those traveling northbound in the area will remain open.<\/p>\n<p>This is the first of several freeway closures for the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/dot.ca.gov\/caltrans-near-me\/district-11\/current-projects\/i5-asstmanagement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">I-5 Asset Management Project<\/a>, which ensures that the southern segment of I-5 remains in a state of good repair by preserving and replacing existing infrastructure.
