{"id":203264,"date":"2025-09-05T21:06:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T21:06:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203264\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T21:06:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T21:06:12","slug":"league-city-police-nine-arrested-for-multiple-houston-area-robberies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203264\/","title":{"rendered":"League City Police: Nine arrested for multiple Houston-area robberies"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\"><strong>LEAGUE CITY, Texas<\/strong> &#8211; Almost ten people are facing charges for taking part in a robbery spree around Houston, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LeagueCityPD\/posts\/1233688238788201\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">according to League City Police<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>   Houston crime: Nine arrested for alleged robbery spree <\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">What we know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">Police say the following Houstonians have been arrested for multiple robberies:<\/p>\n<ol original-article-post=\"\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\" data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Tommie Coleman, 20<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Jerrell Davis, 33<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Shannon Evans, 46<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Laquincya Johnson, 20<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Monica Thompson, 34<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Patricia Thompson, 65<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Valencia Thompson, 51<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Vanessa Thompson, 24<\/li>\n<li class=\"article-ct\" data-v-0245f2f5=\"\">Aron Wilson, 33<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">Eight of the suspects were arrested in late August, and the final person was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 3.<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">Each suspect is reportedly charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity. Those who have that one charge each have a bond of $1 million.<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">Coleman and Vanessa Thompson are also charged with Aggravated Robbery. Police say the second charge raises Coleman&#8217;s bond to $2 million in total. No bond has been set for Thompson.<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">The only robbery incident specified in the League City press release is one that happened in a jewelry store inside a League City HEB. Police say that robbery happened on July 28 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/2955+Gulf+Fwy+S,+League+City,+TX+77573\/@29.4673462,-95.1041141,15z\/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x864082fb9f38a467:0xecc4fbacb8e115d4!8m2!3d29.4679139!4d-95.0943611!16s%2Fg%2F11b8txctsk?entry=ttu&amp;g_ep=EgoyMDI1MDkwMi4wIKXMDSoASAFQAw%3D%3D\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">along the Gulf Freeway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">What we don&#8217;t know:<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">No other details have been provided at this time.<\/p>\n<p original-article-post=\"\" data-v-ec26887a=\"\" data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">What&#8217;s next:<\/p>\n<p data-v-7f0a623e=\"\">Police say the suspects&#8217; arrests were the result of an investigation under the department&#8217;s Criminal Investigations Division.
