A source later confirmed to NY1 that the ambassadorship could be in play.<\/p>\n<p><b>2.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ny1.com\/nyc\/all-boroughs\/news\/2025\/09\/05\/hochul-order-covid-vaccine-access\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Hochul signs order to expand COVID vaccine access in New York amid federal limits<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Gov. Kathy Hochul today signed an executive order aimed at preserving access to COVID-19 vaccines in New York, citing what she described as threats to immunization from the Trump administration.<\/p>\n<p>The order, in effect for 30 days, allows pharmacists to prescribe and administer the updated 2025-26 COVID shot to New Yorkers as young as age 3.\u00a0It follows\u00a0recent federal actions\u00a0that restricted pharmacy access to vaccines for children, pregnant people and adults under 65 without health conditions.<\/p>\n<p><b>3.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ny1.com\/nyc\/all-boroughs\/transit\/2025\/09\/05\/new-report--56--of-all-city-bus-lines-receive-d-or-f-grade\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">New report gives more than half of all city bus lines D or F grades<\/a><\/b><\/p>\n<p>A new analysis says congestion pricing is helping buses move more reliably in Manhattan \u2014 but citywide, service is still falling short.<\/p>\n<p>The report from New York City Comptroller Brad Lander shows bus reliability improved by more than 9 percentage points on the 106 lines that run through the congestion zone.
