Coronation Street has introduced a new character, who fans think is watching Carla Connor and Lisa Swain. <\/p>\n

Viewers will know that DI Costello has been hiding information relating to Lisa’s late wife Becky<\/a>, who may have been a corrupt police officer.<\/p>\n

After Carla visited Logan Radcliffe in prison, he gave her the name Tia Wardley<\/a>, hinting that it was a clue relating to Becky. <\/p>\n

In today’s episode, Costello chatted to Lisa at the police station, asking her about her plans for the evening, while a suspicious Kit accused him of ‘buttering her up’. <\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Roy was at the hospital getting his bad back checked out. He accidentally shut the door on a woman who was wearing a long green coat and cap. <\/p>\n

After he apologised to her, the mystery woman said it was her fault as she was “quiet as a mouse”. <\/p>\n

At the bistro, Carla and Lisa were interrupted by a woman who introduced herself as Tia Wardley. Tia told Carla and Lisa that she used to hang out with the Radcliffe brothers but Becky Swain helped her get back on the right track. <\/p>\n

“She helped me turn my life around. She could see I was on the wrong track, out of my depth,” Tia said, before saying that Becky encouraged her to get help and gave her money. <\/p>\n

With Tia gone, Kit was gobsmacked to realise that Costello was telling the truth and Lisa said she was relieved to know that Becky was a good person after all. <\/p>\n

Later, ‘Tia’ met with Costello, who paid her in cash. She told him that they fell for her fake Tia act. “They didn’t have a clue what the real Tia Wardley looked like,” she added. <\/p>\n

As Carla and Lisa walked home, Lisa thought she saw someone watching them from across the street. <\/p>\n

Viewers think the mystery woman Roy bumped into is actually the real Tia Wardley and that she is the person who was watching Lisa and Carla. <\/p>\n

“I\u2019ve literally got so many reasons that basically prove Becky is dead and that I think the woman in the green coat is the real Tia Wardley,” penned one soap fan<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“So [the] real Tia Wardley (green jacket) is going to rock up on Lisa and introduce herself,” wrote a second fan<\/a>, while another viewer<\/a> said: “I’m holding out that it is just the real Tia Wardley watching Lisa, causing her spidey senses to go off.”<\/p>\n
