{"id":203535,"date":"2025-09-05T23:36:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-05T23:36:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203535\/"},"modified":"2025-09-05T23:36:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T23:36:10","slug":"baby-saved-by-hondo-employees-who-thwarted-mans-attempt-to-harm-child","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203535\/","title":{"rendered":"Baby saved by Hondo employees who thwarted man&#8217;s attempt to harm child"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>HONDO, Texas &#8211; A group of employees at a Hondo business is being credited with saving an infant\u2019s life after stopping a man who police say tried to harm the child and throw the baby into a dumpster.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 3:22 p.m. Friday at Peerless Equipment on U.S. 90 East. <\/p>\n<p>According to the Hondo Police Department, witnesses saw the suspect, later identified as 40-year-old Kyle Bruce of San Antonio, attempting to injure the infant.<\/p>\n<p>Employees immediately intervened, restraining Bruce and protecting the child until officers arrived. <\/p>\n<p>The infant was transported to a hospital, treated, and later reunited with the mother. Police say the child is expected to make a full recovery.<\/p>\n<p>A preliminary investigation revealed the suspect had earlier been involved in a disturbance with the child\u2019s mother in Bexar County.
