{"id":203961,"date":"2025-09-06T03:28:09","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T03:28:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203961\/"},"modified":"2025-09-06T03:28:09","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T03:28:09","slug":"man-fatally-shot-in-parked-car-in-miramar-identified-arrest-made-nbc-7-san-diego","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/203961\/","title":{"rendered":"Man fatally shot in parked car in Miramar identified, arrest made \u2013 NBC 7 San Diego"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsandiego.com\/news\/local\/miramar-deadly-shooting-investigation\/3895696\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">fatally shot while sitting in a parked car<\/a> in broad daylight in the Miramar area was identified by authorities Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Vega, 57, was sitting in the front passenger seat of a parked vehicle in the 8600 block of Production Avenue, near Camino Santa Fe, at about 4 p.m. Wednesday when he was shot, according to the San Diego Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Paramedics took Vega to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, SDPD Lt. Chris Tivanian said.<\/p>\n<p>Joseph Hendry, 42, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of murdering Vega.
