The biggest question mark remains around running back <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/christian-mccaffrey\/\" title=\"Christian McCaffrey\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Christian McCaffrey<\/a>, who was listed as questionable with a calf issue.<\/p>\n<p>McCaffrey was a limited participant in Thursday&#8217;s practice before sitting out Friday&#8217;s session. Head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed the injury surfaced late in the week. The 49ers also listed wide receiver <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/jordan-watkins\/\" title=\"Jordan Watkins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan Watkins<\/a> (ankle) and running back <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/jordan-james\/\" title=\"Jordan James\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jordan James<\/a> (finger) as doubtful for Sunday. Both were limited in Thursday&#8217;s practice and will be evaluated further before gameday.<\/p>\n<p>On a positive note, Shanahan shared that defensive end <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/yetur-gross-matos\/\" title=\"Yetur Gross-Matos\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yetur Gross-Matos<\/a> (knee) is &#8220;good to go&#8221; after progressing through the week without setbacks. Wide receiver <a class=\"nfl-o-cta--link nfl-o-cta--underline\" style=\"word-break: break-word\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49ers.com\/team\/players-roster\/jauan-jennings\/\" title=\"Jauan Jennings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jauan Jennings<\/a>, who managed a calf issue earlier in camp, was limited in practice this week and is expected to be ready for Sunday&#8217;s matchup.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Jauan&#8217;s had a real good week,&#8221; Shanahan said. &#8220;Got a number of good workouts over the weekend which adds to the conditioning. We had our fourth practice today.
