I was sad to learn about the passing of George Harris, and at the same time have gratitude for this appraisal of the man by Heinbaugh in the Opinion section.<\/p>\n
I had the privilege and honor of knowing Harris and his husband, Jack Evans, and serving them and their clients in their real estate endeavors. I spent many a Sunday afternoon at one of their open houses, visiting not only about the market, but also their interests. <\/p>\n
Evans\u2019 passion was photography, and Harris and I loved to talk politics. Their contributions to the LGBTQ community are endless, their gentlemanly demeanors admirable and their real estate skills first rate. <\/p>\n
If you live or have lived in the Perry Heights neighborhood of Dallas, you knew them and they knew you and the history of your house. <\/p>\n
If there is an afterlife, I know that a loving God will cherish having both of them as counsel. Goodbye, old friend.<\/p>\n
