It\u2019ll mark their first performances together since 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Kicking off in Madrid, the upcoming trek will also include concerts in Bologna, Copenhagen, Berlin and London.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/thom-yorke\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Thom Yorke<\/a>\u00a0and co\u2019s return to the UK capital will see them host a four-night residency at The O2 in Greenwich on November 21, 22, 24 and 25.<\/p>\n<p>Now, bassist Colin Greenwood has given a hint as to the setlist for the upcoming shows. Speaking in a new interview on the <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/3ZeObKhaOPV4IBGiJNdVSw?si=K55dx2TSS1ioKmM4ap3PyA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Adam Buxton Podcast<\/a> about their live undertaking, he said: \u201cOh, I think it\u2019s going to be a mix set. I think we\u2019ve like whittled it down to about 70 songs. And me and my brother [guitarist Jonny Greenwood] are not on the setlist committee, we\u2019re not allowed, because we\u2019re too indecisive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo we\u2019ll play anything in any order, at any time. We sort of take a busking attitude to the Radiohead setlist,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s going to be the first time I think we\u2019ve done shows where we haven\u2019t got new material to play as work in progress. But you never know, some stuff might come up or not or whatever, so.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/radiohead-have-been-back-together-rehearsing-it-was-really-fun-3791835\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Greenwood previously revealed last year that Radiohead \u201cdid some rehearsals\u201d over the summer<\/a>. However,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/radiohead-interview-colin-greenwood-how-to-disappear-photo-book-band-future-tour-3803426\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he later told\u00a0NME\u00a0that \u201cit doesn\u2019t mean a tour is imminent\u201d<\/a>. He added: \u201cI think we\u2019re still a band where people might want to know what might happen next. We\u2019re very lucky to have that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The band\u2019s most recent live performance was held on August 1, 2018 at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. It marked the end of their \u2018A Moon Shaped Pool\u2019 tour in support of their 2017 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/blogs\/nme-blogs\/radiohead-a-moon-shaped-pool-talking-points-8462\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">album of the same name<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 which they have yet to follow up.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/it-looks-like-radiohead-are-teasing-their-first-gigs-in-seven-years-in-london-copenhagen-and-other-european-cities-3889546\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The band began teasing their 2025 shows earlier this week<\/a>, when a series of flyers popped up in the cities they\u2019ll be visiting.<\/p>\n<p>This March, it was reported that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/radiohead-2025-tour-seemingly-confirmed-by-management-3847272\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">they had \u201cplaced holds in select European cities for a run of residency gigs\u201d this year<\/a>. This came shortly after Radiohead sparked rumours of new music after\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/radiohead-suggest-upcoming-activity-by-forming-new-legal-entity-3846096\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">forming a new legal entity called RHEUK25 LLP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Elsewhere,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/jonny-greenwood-interview-the-smile-cutouts-radiohead-return-3801554\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jonny Greenwood told us that the rehearsals were \u201cfun and natural\u201d<\/a>, but explained that there were \u201cno plans\u201d for new material. \u201cWe\u2019ve [got] lots of individual projects going on at the moment,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/thom-yorke-really-doesnt-give-a-fuck-if-you-want-radiohead-to-return-3804946\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Frontman Yorke, meanwhile, said around the same time that he \u201creally doesn\u2019t give a fuck\u201d if fans wanted Radiohead to return<\/a>. The singer, who has been busy with\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/artists\/the-smile\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Smile<\/a>\u00a0in recent years, admitted in August that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/thom-yorke-still-struggling-to-be-creative-post-pandemic-i-really-valued-that-time-3883389\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">he was \u201cstill struggling\u201d to be creative following the COVID-19 pandemic<\/a>. He was speaking upon\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/heres-a-peek-inside-radioheads-new-exhibition-this-is-what-you-get-3883173\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the launch of Radiohead\u2019s new exhibition, \u2018This Is What You Get\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In other news,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/radiohead-revisit-archive-hail-to-the-thief-recordings-new-live-album-3884656\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the band have revisited some \u201carchive\u201d recordings from the \u2018Hail To The Thief\u2019 era for a new live album<\/a>. This year,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/check-out-these-behind-the-scenes-photos-from-thom-yorkes-new-hamlet-hail-to-the-thief-production-3851413\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Yorke brought the 2003 record to the stage with his\u00a0Hamlet Hail To The Thief\u00a0production<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nme.com\/news\/music\/bds-movement-call-for-boycott-of-radioheads-2025-tour-3889991\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the\u00a0pro-Palestine BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) movement has called for a boycott of Radiohead\u2019s 2025 tour<\/a>.
