A 42-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with a fatal shooting in Miramar where the alleged gunman fired on the victim while he was seated in a vehicle, San Diego police said.<\/p>\n
Joseph Hendry was arrested in connection with the death of 57-year-old Markus Vega, who was gunned down Wednesday in the passenger seat of a vehicle in an industrial area near Production Avenue and Carroll Road, police Lt. Chris Tivanian.<\/p>\n
Vega was taken to a hospital, where he died.<\/p>\n
Immediately after the shooting, the suspect was seen running northbound from the scene. Officers searched the area and a nearby RV that was possibly connected to the gunman, but did not immediately find him.<\/p>\n
