{"id":205677,"date":"2025-09-06T18:54:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-06T18:54:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/205677\/"},"modified":"2025-09-06T18:54:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-06T18:54:11","slug":"biker-killed-in-crash-with-box-truck-on-5-freeway-in-downtown-la","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/205677\/","title":{"rendered":"Biker Killed in Crash with Box Truck on 5 Freeway in Downtown LA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A motorcyclist was killed  Saturday during a crash with a box truck on the Golden State (5) Freeway in downtown Los Angeles, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred at about 9:45 a.m. Saturday on the southbound freeway, just north of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>A representative from the Los Angeles County Office of Medical Examiner was dispatched to the scene at 10:44 a.m., the CHP said.<\/p>\n<p>A Sigalert was issued at 10:01 a.m. closing four lanes of the southbound freeway, just south of Fourth Street, for at least 90 minutes.
