James Keivom<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHail may be embedded in these storms, probably no bigger than maybe quarter-sized golf balls in extreme storms. Downpours may lead to some instances of flash flooding with these storms as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>All five boroughs were under thunderstorm watch until 8 p.m. with an estimated inch of rain into tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese storms will continue to move throughout the night. They\u2019ll definitely die down in intensity, but we are expecting some form of rain to last overnight into the midday hours,\u201d Braud said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome of the lightest rain could last all the way until just after lunch.
