PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A serious crash has closed a portion of State Route 74 in north Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Around 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, the Arizona Department of Transportation responded to a crash on SR 74 at milepost 29<\/a>, about a mile from southbound Interstate 17. It is unclear how many cars were involved or if anyone was seriously hurt. <\/p>\n

Traffic is blocked for approximately seven miles in both directions. Drivers are advised to take an alternate route. There is no estimated time when the highway will reopen.<\/p>\n
