JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Football is back in Jacksonville, but as you know, the Sunshine State isn\u2019t always bright and sunny. Here\u2019s what you need to know before heading to EverBank Stadium.<\/p>\n

Umbrellas are often our first defense when the rain starts coming down. Unfortunately, you\u2019re going to have to leave those in the car. Instead, bring your rain jacket or poncho to get through the wet weather.<\/p>\n

Throughout the season, the sun inevitably bears down on the bowl of EverBank. The Jaguars\u2019 Chief Operating Officer, Chad Johnson, said they\u2019re offering some relief.<\/p>\n

\u201cNew this year, we\u2019re allowing fans to bring two bottles of water into the stadium as opposed to last year\u2019s policy of one bottle of water,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n

Those bottles can be refilled at water fountains throughout the stadium. If you don\u2019t have a water bottle, cups are available to fill at guest service booths.<\/p>\n

If you feel yourself getting hot and need to cool down, the Jags said JTA cooling buses will be at Gate 4 with water coolers. The South Endzone and Daily\u2019s Place also provide shaded spaces with seating.<\/p>\n

\u201cOverall, it\u2019s just going to be a great experience. We\u2019re really excited for everything,\u201d Johnson said.<\/p>\n

The parking lots open at 9 a.m., and golf carts will be traveling around to pick people up from the outer lots and bring them to the stadium. <\/p>\n

The gates are open by 11 a.m. Kickoff of the Jags season is set for just after 1 p.m. Be safe, be cool, and stay dry. <\/p>\n
