Shavano Park to hold FY 2025-26 budget public hearings\u00a0<\/p>\n
Prior to adoption, the Shavano Park City Council<\/a> will hold two public hearings to discuss the fiscal year 2025-26 budget<\/a> in mid-September.<\/p>\n In a nutshell<\/strong><\/p>\n According to city documents, the general fund budget is estimated at $7.16 million<\/strong>, with a total projected budget of $15.9 million<\/strong> for FY 2025-26. Other proposed budgets include a $2.33 million<\/strong> capital improvement fund and a $138,941<\/strong> street maintenance fund.<\/p>\n The tax rate will remain unchanged from last year and, based on assumed levels of revenue, the budget will cover target expenditures for operations, capital improvements, equipment replacement and debt service, according to City Manager Bill Hill’s proposed budget.
