PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 Officers made a disturbing discovery on Thursday morning when they found the bodies of two women who were shot inside an apartment east of downtown Phoenix.<\/p>\n

It happened at the Monterra Apartments on 24th Street<\/a>, just north of the Loop 202 freeway. Around 9 a.m., someone called the police concerned about the two women because they hadn\u2019t heard from them for several days.<\/p>\n

When officers went to the apartment, they found the women shot to death.<\/p>\n

Police didn\u2019t say if they are looking for a suspect. An investigation is underway.<\/p>\n
