I probably am the best songwriter of my generation,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHe candidly continued: \u201cIt\u2019s the first time in my life I don\u2019t know what to say.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe band\u2019s official line was no politics, according to Healy, who said that people watching the BBC\u2019s live <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/glastonbury\/\" id=\"auto-tag_glastonbury_1\" data-tag=\"glastonbury\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Glastonbury<\/a> coverage at home might be \u201cdisappointed\u201d by the \u201clack of politics in this show.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tHe said: \u201cI want you to know it\u2019s a conscious decision\u2026 We don\u2019t want our legacy to be politics; we want our [message] to be love and friendship.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tThe singer contradicted himself swiftly after.
