The Dallas Wings face the LA Sparks in a crucial game on Sept. 7 at 5 p.m. CT.<\/p>\n
The\u00a0Dallas Wings<\/a> are in the home stretch. With just two games left in the season, the Wings (9-33) are in Los Angeles to take on the Sparks (19-22) inside Crypto.com Arena, and fans can catch all the action on KFAA.<\/p>\n Dallas is out of the playoff picture after a regular season mired with injury, but there are two silver linings for Wings fans: Paige Bueckers and a guaranteed top-three pick in the 2026 draft<\/a>.<\/p>\n Bueckers has been dominant, winning three Rookie of the Month honors straight<\/a>. She’s been a shoe-in for Rookie of the Year all season long. Despite her stellar play, the Wings have not found much success on the court this season, holding the worst record in the league. That poor record has helped guarantee the Wings a top-three pick and the best odds to land the No. 1 pick in the upcoming WNBA Draft Lottery<\/a>.<\/p>\n On the other end of the court, the Sparks are hungry for a win. If they lose to Dallas on Sunday, they will be mathematically eliminated from the postseason. In their last game against the Wings, Sparks guard Kelsey Plum spoiled Bueckers’ 44-point rookie record-setting game with a buzzer-beating floater, securing the win for LA.<\/p>\n
After their trip to Hollywood, the Wings fly back home to close out the season at College Park Center.<\/p>\n
The North Texas-based Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) team announced a new broadcast rights agreement with TEGNA’s KFAA, making WFAA’s sister station the exclusive local television partner of the Wings.<\/p>\n Under the agreement, all Wings games that are not designated for national television will be available for free over-the-air on KFAA (Ch. 29) in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A select number of games could also air on WFAA (Ch. 8).<\/p>\n Fans will be able to watch KFAA (Ch. 29) games through their cable, satellite, or streaming provider or through an HD antenna.
