A 31-year-old woman is dead after she collided with a truck while riding her bike in Montreal’s\u00a0Plateau-Mont-Royal borough.<\/p>\n
Local police say the collision happened on\u00a0Parc\u00a0Avenue just north of Bernard Street West. They were called to the scene around 9:20 a.m. Sunday.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition, but later succumbed to her injuries, said police spokesperson Julien L\u00e9vesque Sunday afternoon.\u00a0<\/p>\n
He says the driver, a 49-year-old man, will meet with investigators from the collision unit as they try to illuminate the circumstances around the fatal accident.<\/p>\n
