Josh Allen isn\u2019t mad at some of the Bills Mafia. He\u2019s just disappointed.<\/p>\n
Following one of the wildest wins in Buffalo Bills<\/a> history, Allen was interviewed by NBC Sports\u2019 Melissa Stark.<\/p>\n In his interview, Allen noted that some fans left before the final whistle. He said that was okay, but he had a pointed five-word message for the fan base. <\/p>\n \u201cHave some faith next time,\u201d Allen said with a smile.<\/p>\n Here\u2019s everything Allen said to Stark.<\/p>\n \u201cThere\u2019s just no quit in this team. Welcome to Buffalo,\u201d Allen remarked. \u201cWhat a vet, kicking the game-winning field goal in a tough, weird situation you don\u2019t see too often. He came in prepared and ready to go.\u201d<\/p>\n Allen added, \u201cOur team didn\u2019t quit. I think there\u2019s people that left the stadium. That\u2019s okay. We\u2019ll be fine. Have some faith next time.\u201d<\/p>\n Buffalo\u2019s franchise quarterback didn\u2019t do it alone, but he did much of the heavy lifting. Against one of the NFL\u2019s best defenses, Allen was able to pick the unit apart.<\/p>\n He completed 33-of-46 passes for 394 yards and two touchdowns through the air. Allen added another 30 yards and two scores on the ground.<\/p>\n Despite the game seeming out of hand for much of the second half, Allen and the Bills were able to dig themselves out of a 15-point hole late in the fourth quarter and leave Highmark Stadium with a 41-40 win.<\/p>\n Buffalo now sits alone atop the AFC East after the Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and New York Jets all dropped their Week 1 matchups.
