The new logo was unveiled on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>HOUSTON \u2014 In June, our partners at the Houston Business Journal reported on how <a href=\"https:\/\/www.khou.com\/article\/money\/business\/houston-business-journal\/houston-community-college-hcc-new-name\/285-bcedbdc4-a855-47bc-9a11-424bbed87814\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Houston Community College rebranded as Houston City College<\/a>. \u00a0On Friday, we got a look at a new logo.<\/p>\n<p>The school said the name change was to better reflect the school\u2019s expansion into bachelor\u2019s degree programs. HCC said the new logo, which you can see below, was a look \u201cdesigned to capture the spirit, values and vision of the institution as it prepares for the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is more than a fresh design \u2014 it\u2019s a reflection of who we are and where we\u2019re headed,\u201d said Chancellor Margaret Ford Fisher, Ed.D. in a post on the HCC website. \u00a0\u201cOur nearly 100,000 students, faculty and staff share in the excitement of this moment, because it symbolizes growth, unity and the promise of the journey ahead for HCC.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__placeholder\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/abb81446-6cd7-4822-9dd6-0cbb2fa076c8_16x9.jpg\"\/><br \/>\n                <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"photo__main\" loading=\"eager\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/abb81446-6cd7-4822-9dd6-0cbb2fa076c8_1140x641.jpg\"  alt=\"\" style=\"opacity:0\" onload=\"this.style.opacity=1\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The school says that soon, the new logo will be on all communications.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Got a news tip or story idea?
