Thanks to a new last-minute leak from an anonymous X account, it now seems all but certain that Apple\u2019s next generation Apple Watch SE <\/a>will be launching in a number of days. Rumors for this new model have been faint, leading to some skepticism around whether or not it\u2019s truly launching this year \u2013 but now things seem solid.<\/p>\n

This anonymous X account wishes to remain private, so we can\u2019t directly link to the tweet \u2013 though the user has a highly accurate track record.<\/p>\n

Late on Sunday, the account tweeted processor IDs and other model identifiers for the three upcoming Apple Watch models: Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3. The tweet would suggest that all three Apple Watches will use the same chipset, the upcoming Apple S11. That aligns with previous rumors.<\/p>\n

As for what else will be coming to Apple Watch SE<\/a> 3, your guess is as good as mine. Previous rumors have indicated the possibility of a plastic casing, though nothing is very solid. We also might see larger displays, in line with what Apple shipped with Apple Watch Series 7<\/a>, Series 8, and Series 9.<\/p>\n
