{"id":210837,"date":"2025-09-08T18:26:12","date_gmt":"2025-09-08T18:26:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/210837\/"},"modified":"2025-09-08T18:26:12","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T18:26:12","slug":"teems-few-added-to-boise-state-basketball-staff","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/210837\/","title":{"rendered":"Teems, Few added to Boise State Basketball Staff"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Boise State men\u2019s basketball has added\u00a0<strong>Max Teems<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>AJ Few<\/strong>\u00a0to the coaching staff, head coach\u00a0Leon Rice\u00a0announced on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Entering his sixth season with the team, and first in a full-time capacity, Teems will serve as Director of Video Operations &amp; Program Logistics. Few joins the Broncos as Director of Player Personnel &amp; Men\u2019s Basketball BroncoPRO.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are extremely excited to add Max and AJ to our full-time staff,\u201d Rice said. \u201cMax joined us five years ago and has been an invaluable asset to our coaches, student-athletes and support staff since his arrival. He served this program tremendously as a student manager and graduate assistant, and I\u2019m thrilled to watch his continued growth and development.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs for AJ, we\u2019re fortunate to add a young man with an extensive and expansive basketball background and pedigree. His knowledge, experience and acumen in all facets of the game will pay dividends and make us a better program, both now and in the foreseeable future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his new role,\u00a0<strong>Teems\u00a0<\/strong>will manage and oversee all aspects of video operations for men\u2019s basketball, including film breakdown and distribution. Additionally, he will coordinate and prepare opponent scouting reports and game plans, and assist in all recruiting efforts.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to being promoted, Teems performed various roles for men\u2019s basketball while completing his undergraduate and graduate degrees at Boise State. He was the head student manager for three seasons (2020-23) before working as the team\u2019s video coordinator from 2023-25.<\/p>\n<p>A key contributor to 118 victories since joining the Broncos, Teems graduated from Boise State on two occasions. He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in interdisciplinary studies in May 2023 before garnering his master\u2019s degree in athletic leadership in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Embarking on his first season at Boise State,\u00a0<strong>Few<\/strong>\u00a0will have a sizable impact in various areas, including BroncoPRO. He will spearhead recruiting, aid in analytics, provide support in roster construction and serve as a liaison between men\u2019s basketball and the department\u2019s external affairs leadership team.<br \/>Before starting with the Broncos, Few was a graduate assistant for two seasons (2022-24) and the head video coordinator (2024-25) for Gonzaga men\u2019s basketball. He played a significant role in the team going 26-9 and reaching the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament last season. He also worked as an NBA Summer League coach for the Miami Heat in 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Few attended Gonzaga, where he earned both of his degrees.
