SAN ANTONIO \u2014 San Antonio police are looking for the suspect who stole multiple purses from the La Cantera area this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
On Saturday, police were called to the 15000 block of La Cantera Parkway around 8:30 p.m. for a theft in progress.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to SAPD, a man entered the store wearing a black wig, a light blue jacket, a black COVID mask and beige sweats. The suspect then took out wire cutters and began cutting the wires that were securely attached to the bags.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Police say the suspect stole about seven bags and left without paying for them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
TikTok user, Jessica Oehler posted a video of the alleged theft.<\/a> The video shows an individual cutting the wires and grabbing purses while in a noticeable disguise.
