SAN ANTONIO \u2014 While it may still technically be summer, it\u2019s definitely Halloween time at Fiesta Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s Fright Fest kicked off this weekend with plenty of thrills and chills for the whole family. KENS 5 went by for a sneak peak.<\/p>\n
At 7 p.m. the monsters arrived with dozens of demons disembarking from the terror train – immediately sending chills down the spines of thrill seekers. Some guests will get more than they bargained for.<\/p>\n
It may be scary, but it\u2019s fun – mostly. And Fiesta Texas has come up with some new ways to spook the crowd.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe pulled out all the stops,\u201d Jeffrey Siebert, Regional General Manager for Six Flags parks said. \u201cSix haunted houses, 6 scare zones, more than 9 different shows throughout the day.\u201d<\/p>\n
Plus, if the “Saw” movies give any of the guests nightmares, their haunted house will tear them to shreds. And over at “The Conjuring” haunted house, people who are scared by Annabelle say they want none of this.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019ve had some time to calm down from it. It\u2019s an assault on the senses,” thrill seeker Noel Montenegro said. \u201dLike in a good way, I guess. Very loud. Lots of jump scares. It was very good.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
Fellow haunted house fan Natalie Ybarra agreed.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve been coming every year since I was little, and this has been one of the best,” Ybarra added.\u00a0<\/p>\n
With so many rides and attractions, many people are wondering where to start? So, Fright Fest is providing an interactive lantern that brings up a map of all the attractions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guests can simply follow the map and find their way to some of Fiesta Texas\u2019 more traditional scare tactics that come from their hair-raising rides.\u00a0<\/p>\n
But, if screaming isn’t your thing, there\u2019s plenty of less stressful attractions, so whatever rattles your coffin, Fright Fest is sure to provide.\u00a0<\/p>\n
