ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – In October, some of the Midwest\u2019s best flag football players will take the field at Rockford\u2019s new state-of-the-art sports facility.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, the Clarence Hicks Sports Complex<\/a>, 2004 Ogilby Rd., will host the Chicago Bears NFL FLAG Regional Tournament<\/a>. <\/p>\n Around 50 teams will compete across 11 divisions: 8U-14U for boys and 10U through high school for girls.<\/p>\n More than 1,000 players, coaches and fans are expected to make their way to the complex and generate an estimated economic impact of $467,509 for the community. <\/p>\n Attending athletes will compete for a spot in the NFL FLAG Summer Championships in July 2026. <\/p>\n Copyright 2025 WIFR.
