a recent interview<\/a> with Michael Lee of the Washington Post, Wall shared his thoughts about the subject:<\/p>\n\u201cI definitely believe it belongs there,\u201d Wall said. \u201cI\u2019m not one of those who want to go out there and say, \u2018I\u2019m the best Wizard of all time,\u2019 because I haven\u2019t accomplished certain things that other people have. I just think what I brought to the city, and just them adopting me as their own.”<\/p>\n
There’s no denying that even during Wall’s time in the DMV, the Wizards didn’t find much success; at least none that won them any championships or any conference finals. <\/p>\n
Despite that, the lack of success as an organization can’t take away from the fact that Wall will forever be known as one of the most impactful players to wear a Wizards’ jersey and his numbers prove that.<\/p>\n
In addition, Wall acknowledges and regrets that lack of success during his time with the Wizards stating his one regret:<\/p>\n
“Only thing I regret is not having the opportunity to go to the conference finals or compete for a championship. I think if it doesn\u2019t go in the rafters, I don\u2019t think the fans would really appreciate it. I think they\u2019d be upset.\u201d<\/p>\n
