{"id":211691,"date":"2025-09-09T02:30:10","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T02:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/211691\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T02:30:10","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T02:30:10","slug":"nationals-15-7-marlins-sep-8-2025-game-recap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/211691\/","title":{"rendered":"Nationals 15-7 Marlins (Sep 8, 2025) Game Recap"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIAMI &#8212; \u2014 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/32517\/josh-bell\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Bell<\/a> became the second Washington player to homer from both sides of the plate in the same game, finishing with four hits and six RBI to lead the Nationals over the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/team\/_\/name\/mia\/miami-marlins\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Miami Marlins<\/a> 15-7 on Monday night.<\/p>\n<p>              <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4719511\/dylan-crews\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Dylan Crews<\/a> and Luis Garc\u00eda Jr also homered as the Nationals matched their season high for runs and hits (19).<\/p>\n<p>              Miami drew just 7,992, its 12th crowd this season under 8,000.<\/p>\n<p>              Bell&#8217;s RBI single in the fifth put Washington ahead 3-1 and, batting right-handed, he hit a two-run drive off <a href=\"http:\/\/www.espn.com\/mlb\/player\/_\/id\/4151347\/josh-simpson\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Simpson<\/a> for a 10-2 lead in the sixth. <\/p>\n<p>              Hitting left-handed, Bell added a two-run homer in the sixth against Josh Simpson, a 413-foot, 110 mph drive four rows into the nearly empty right-field upper deck for his 19th long ball this season.
